This was our second time to visit Bill Cody Ranch and it did not disappoint. We started off enjoying a great dinner and entertainment at their 100 year Anniversary event. The steaks were cooked perfectly, the salad with huckleberry vinegarette was delicious. The following day we took a two hour trail ride. We had three wranglers that day, Faith, James and Bill. They all three were very friendly and helpful. Faith did a fantastic job leading the trail ride, explaining to those the basics, making sure they were comfortable with how to rein the horses etc. She was very sweet and patient. The scenery was amazing. I highly recommend Bill Cody Ranch to anyone visiting the Cody or Yellowstone areas. Do not sleep on this ranch. The prices are reasonable and it’s well worth it to stay there or pay them a visit for the day. Beautiful horses who knew the trail and required very little work from us as riders. Thanks for another great vacation experience. Special thanks to Faith for making the trail ride one to remember.
We stayed at The Bill Cody Ranch for a week and did 4 hour trail rides 5 days. We were able to do a bunch of different rides on all different terrains. The wranglers and staff were 10/10 all so friendly and personable. We rode with Wranglers Zach and James and had an outstanding experience. They are very knowledgeable about the horses and always make sure you feel comfortable on your ride. We already can’t wait for our trip back!
We did not stay at the ranch, but did a 2 hour trail ride on Saturday and it was amazing. We have done trail rides all over the US and this was by far the best and most beautiful. The horses weee gentle and easy and the scenery, Shoshone National Forest was amazing. Alyssa was our trail guide and was patient with everyone, but especially the ones who hadn’t ridden in the past. This is a must if you have time visiting Yellowstone. 30 minutes from Cody and about the same from the East gate.
Wonderful wooded authentic western retreat. The food was amazing. They Have fresh trout and steak for dinner. The appetizers were amazing blue mussel's and popcorn shrimp with homemade dipping sauce.
Stayed here three nights and the cabin was great. Comfortable bed and plenty of space to spread out. Food was good in the restaurant and whilst a bit slow it can be understood perhaps by the limited staff. Overall a good experience.
