Rice Family Farms

Lots of birds and offers hunts for a great price.

I have had both peasants and Chukkars released at rice farms. I enjoyed hunting both as they were pretty sporty. My lab did not catch a single one which is unusual. She flushed each and every one and they did not act like most pen raised birds. I was with my seven-year-old son and I wanted to take him someplace safe. I was given my own field which suited me and my boy well. I have been back many times and will continue to go there. May not have all the amenities of the high dollar clubs but if you want to hunt and have some fun definitely the place to go.

Had a fun hunt on a beautiful (Rare) 55 degree day in December. Guide with two English Springer Spaniels who did a awesome job of pushing the birds out for us. I Highly recommend this place. This was my first Pheasant hunt and was very impressed.

Jeff is an awesome owner and has a great place to do dog training with your dog and get a great pheasant hunt out of it. Rice farms is set up with good cover and walking lanes.
