The Outback Kangaroo Farm

Visited on Friday. It's a small but nice farm. Our tour was about 20 people, lasted about 45 minutes which was just right. The animals were engaging, seemed happy, and of course, great posers for photos! Do not attend if you think this will be a large, go anywhere you want facility. There isn't a large staff so it's important to follow the rules and respect that these are still animals. Wear shoes that can get dirty (we brought a change), jackets if the weather will be cool/rainy, and things that can get dirty, especially if you plan to pet the animals. The staff was nice, answered questions, and clearly love their animals.
Amazing experience with the kids, the best part being able to hang out and feed the kangaroos.. they have emu as well and a family of cute goats. Peacocks just hang around casually and are friendly..the niece gave a great tour and made it fun. You can pet the donkeys as well as the alpacas and even get a kiss
Where else can you walk with a wallaby and hop along next to a kangaroo! A wonderful walk through to see all the creatures they have to offer and even a kiss goodbye (if you dare :-) ). The tour guides are a hoot, a must see if you’re here in the area!
A little wet today, no matter! Super cool place to take your kids. What an experience for them. I had never had the chance to pet a kangaroo! How cool!! Such Wonderful people. Thank you, Ray!
It was a beautiful experience. There are kangaroos, goats, mini donkeys, one mini goat, alpacas and one llama. Also plenty of free roaming chicken and peacocks. We get to go in the areas each animal is kept in and pet and feed them. The animals are pretty well kept. This place offers guided tours every few hours. Do check the website for time and days because they are not open everyday. Will definitely recommend if someone is in town.
