Texas Ranch Life

Had a great short weekend stay at Texas Ranch Life - felt transported to another time and place. Beautiful historic accommodations and warm hospitality. Hope to come back again soon with a bigger group.

Stayed @ TRL for a friend's birthday. The family are great host. The property is beautiful. The food is great and there are endless activities to participate in. I recommend this to anyone!

The Elick family and their team helped us host what has been dubbed "the best corporate event I've ever been to" by MANY members of our team. We had a large group from all over the country down to the ranch for our annual leadership meeting and they could not have been more welcoming. The meeting space was beautiful, the meals were OUSTANDING, and our group had a blast with the team penning event. It's been weeks and everyone is still talking about it! I have received no end of compliments on the setting, the activities, and more than anything, the hospitality of our hosts. I cannot recommend Lacey, Taunia, John, and the whole TRL Team enough.

John and his team did a great job ensuring we had a fun 3 night stay on the ranch. Food was fantastic (lots of meat and home cooking), and ranch activities were well planned!

We had the best time. We were always contacted when something was on .. even when we were out and about .. the family is so welcoming. John is Such an amazing horseman. We stayed at the Confederate House (Buffalo House) and either drove or walked to the main arena to go horse riding or see John working the horses. We loved being in our own area of paradise with longhorns cattle and buffalo with calves walking by.
