We did a 3 day hunt with these guys. And they were top notch. The guides made the hunts fun, on top of working hard to keep us on birds. Would 100% recommend them.

These guys are top notch. They put in a ton of hard work so you don't have to. Their motto, you ask? "Show up and hunt!" Vince and the rest of his crew have great passion for this stuff and are likely the best in the area. No hunt comes with guaranteed results , but these guys DO guarantee an exciting, fun time. These memories are some of the best in my bank and I hope to continue visiting Texas to hunt with Prairie Bomb Outfitters.

Hunted for 3 days and had a great time with my dad. One of the only outfitters I found down in Texas that would take a group of 2. Great guides that work hard to get birds. Coming back again next year and can’t wait.

Fantastic guides, great experience all around and Vince was extremely nice and welcoming. I’ll absolutely go with them again.

Probably the most unprofessional guided trip I’ve ever been on and that’s been several fishing and hunting trips. First paid for a Sandhill crane hunt for me and my wife as Christmas gifts. The. We get to the field this morning to find out we were put on a goose hunt without any knowledge wasn’t informed why or anything before. So we find out we are not even on the hunt we paid for about a hr In to the hunt I sit up to find all 3 guides playing on there smart phones instead of looking for birds and that happen throughout the entire hunt. Finally we had multiple small flocks of birds come within shooting distance but they chose to pass them up trying to call in the large flock of birds. Now I’m no pro hunter but I was told once by a professional hunt to never pass up shoot able birds for birds because you don’t know if that flock will come in. Luckily for us no one wanted 4 birds that were harvested and gave them to us. But the other two snow geese that were shot were not offed to any clients the guides kept both snow geese for themselves instead of offering to clients since the hunt was a bust. 8 hunters 3 guides and total 4 grey geese and 2 snows. 3 greys shot by clients and 2 snows and one grey taken by guides. I can’t recommend this guide service to anyone based on my experience with them. Glad they have had good hunts in the past but as for my experience it’s a no go. Need to add they advertise animal processing as part of the hunt but they just handed me the birds and said good luck. That being said I prefer to do my own but they could have asked but didn’t even asked. Update: here we are a bit over a week later with no word from a representative of prairie bomb outfitters. Not a sorry nor explanation as to why we weren’t put on the hunt we paid for nor to why they didn’t inform us of the change prior to 15 min before getting to the blinds. Did hear from Mallard Bay the booking company and they did apologize and said they would talk with the Outfitter. Now if they did or didn’t I don’t know. I guess this company just likes to kill things with no purpose not knowing if the clients even enjoy eating what they are out to harvest.
