Nine Bar Ranch

This ranch will not disappoint in any way!! The hunting is great and the people are absolutely AMAZING! I traveled from Indiana for my first hog hunt last year and had so much fun I came back this year. I don’t have any interest in going anywhere else to hunt hogs. I plan on coming back every year. Jim Bob and Christy are the kindest and most helpful people! Their guides are all great too. The lodge is accommodating, food is delicious, and the hunting is top notch! While sitting in the blinds you have amazing views of Texas countryside. I love everything about this place and I can’t thank them enough for the great memories they’ve helped create!!

I had many firsts at my visit to Nine Bar. First, I wanna say that Jim Bob, Lance, and Mark, you guys, were amazing at making sure our group was taken care of. Christie was an amazing cook also. This was the first time I had ever been hunting and, on the last night, was able to get 2 big hogs. I saw a lot of wildlife, and the views were amazing and peaceful. They all helped me process the meat so I could bring home my first kill. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks, everyone, for showing me an amazing time

This place is by far a top shelf operation! Have never met nice people who go over and above to accommodate any need that you could have. Kristy is an amazing cook. Jim Bob was a true pleasure to be around. All the guides work hard to make your hunt as successful as possible. Accommodations are clean comfortable and done well. This is a fabulous place to hunt & we had so much fun! Jimbob runs a great operation & is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The weather was not cooperative on the first day, but despite that we were still able to kill a couple of hogs that evening. The next day was much better and more hogs were killed. Christy prepared homemade meals which were all fantastic and much more than we expected. The accommodations were excellent. Overall, this was a great experience. We are already in the process of booking a hunt for next year & I would highly recommend you do the same if you are reading this!
