Live Oak Hunting Lodge

My husband took me to Live Oak Hunting Lodge to kill a white tail deer. What a wonderful experience it was. Steve, the owner and guide, was awesome! Very knowledgeable about the deer and made me at ease when it came time to pull the trigger. The lodging and food was also a plus. Can’t wait until next time.

I have been Deer and Turkey hunting with live oak since 2007 and since 2021 I have brought several of my employees and good friends and have always been 100% satisfied. I killed my biggest Whitetail this season hunting with Steve. The lodge provides some of the best food while there and I guarantee you want leave the table hungry or leave without harvesting a nice whitetail or Rio Turkey. I have to say this also he the best Turkey hunter I have ever hunted with!!

He also understands the land and ranchers in the area like the back of his hand. I have to say first and foremost that Steve runs a top notch operation at the Live Oak Hunting Lodge. I've deer hunted with Steve two times in 2024 and both trips took very nice bucks.
