Brought class here for a day trip, very pretty place and well kept. Group had fun on the zip lines as can hear them from the bus 😂 !Bluebonnets all over the place! Might suggest adding some bee watering systems out away from traffic areas to help take care of these bees in the summer. Need to keep our pollinators healthy and happy!! Beautiful place in the hill country!!

Celebrated “Earth Day” First time at the Candlelight ranch and we loved the place , great retreat for the whole family, interacting with nature, exploring the flora and fauna, doing zip line and climbing rock wall . Staff were sweet , helpful, teaching and explaining kids from beekeeping to creating jewelry from crystals

Our family loved our time at Candlelight Ranch today! The horses were calm and enjoyed being brushed by our son. Chillville was a great water sensory activity for the entire family. They have two water pumps running down troughs, a small creek and three set ups where you can stand and get wet. Our son felt confident enough to navigate it on his own and everything was easy for him to reach and move. We took advantage of painting in the pavilion while we cooled off and ate snacks. The lake was so serene and quiet! The only issue I would say we had was that the hike down to the lake is hard for young children. I think if we had been told beforehand, we might have reconsidered. The reward is worth it but definitely something to think about when taking kids or dealing with extreme temps. The ranch does have handicap accessible parking and walkways in the main areas. As far as I know, you have to bring your own snacks, water bottles (there are refill stations located throughout), food, sunscreen, bug spray, etc. Every member of the staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made our experience very memorable. We look forward to our next visit!

Candlelight ranch provides overnight camping, outdoor education, team building, recreational therapy and more for families, students and other groups. We took families for family building and they had fun together, ate together, created new memories together, overcame fears and challenges together, we’re inspired and resolved to work better together. There are 3 zip line courses, a canyon crawl, ropes course team building activities, hiking trails, outdoor camping spots, the largest treehouse in central Texas, water cooling stations, horses, and my favorite kayaking/canoeing. Families should experience this together!
