Artemis Ranch and Retreat

Our company retreat at Artemis Ranch & Retreat was an unforgettable experience. The ranch is beautiful and peaceful, and the people who run it are truly amazing. Ty, the host and owner, welcomed us like family. Adrian, our guide, made sure everything was perfect so we could focus on enjoying ourselves. And Kourtney, our chef, spoiled us with delicious meals & treats that made every moment feel special. The activities were a absolute blast on the new sporting clays and pistol shooting course, and the long-range target practice area was incredible. We were there for dove hunting but getting to see the rhino, giraffe, zhebra, and so many other exotic animals made the whole experience feel magical and one-of-a-kind. The swimming pool & spa is like a resort in itself that helped us set the mood for our evening. This retreat was the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and connection. If 10 stars were possible, we’d give them in a heartbeat. We can’t wait to come back! I didn't want to leave!!!

I went with a group of ladies for Labor Day weekend & we absolutely had the time of our lives. We stayed at the Vista Cottage, which is a beautiful, cozy, well-appointed home with views for miles. The fallow deer came right up in the yard every day, while we splashed away in the pool & hot tub. Ty & Leslie were amazing hosts. They explained the original vision, their path over the last five years, as well as their insights for the future. We actually got to feed Tank the rhinoceros (which was a bucket list item for one of our ladies)! We then fed the giraffes, which included two babies. These are the most beautiful creatures & the habitat Ty has created for them is astounding. On our drive on the 4-wheeler, we discovered there are over 28 species on the Ranch!! It truly is like being on an African safari right in Texas. We’ve decided to make this an annual event. Thank you again for such an amazing experience ❤️❤️

Artemis Ranch is absolutely beautiful! The cottage house and inground pool was perfect and the owner Ty and his wife were so nice and kind! He took us to feed Tank the Rhino and the giraffes! Plus we got to see exotic animals roaming the ranch! The whole experience felt relaxing and refreshing. Perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!”

Our family enjoyed an amazing week together at Artemis Ranch and Retreat. What an incredible experience! It’s like being on safari without going to Africa. The Vista cottage and the lodge are gorgeous and attention has been paid to every detail. Our family included ages 2,4, 14, and adults up to late 60’s and everyone was awed by the experience. The hosts, Ty and Leslie, were so accommodating throughout our stay. Chef Kourtney prepared a delicious picnic lunch for us one of the days and a fantastic steak dinner one evening. Everyone enjoyed our safari rides through the property to see all the beautiful animals. The guys enjoyed shooting sporting clays our final morning. The pool and hot tub were fun, refreshing, and relaxing. Two wineries nearby have great wines and lovely grounds. At Artemis the views are stunning and the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular. I highly recommend this truly special destination!

As soon as you pull through the gate, you leave the rest of the world behind. Before you even reach the lodge or cabin that you’re staying in your struck by the natural beauty of the ranch While you’re taking it back with the view, you haven’t seen anything yet. The herds of animals that you will see our discovery channel in real life. From ibex to zebra to giraffes to yes, even a rhino it’s all there! Then when you enter your lodging, it’s like stepping from a Safari into the Ritz Carlton. The food has meticulously prepared, the staff is Exceedingly friendly and welcoming, and even the pool is breathtaking with its infinity edge. The only complaint I have about my stay is that I had to leave! I highly recommend Artemis Ranch, and when you do book stop by and say hi to tank the Rhyno for me!
