It was great, we camped and just chilled out there. Game warden showed up and said we needed licenses though just to camp. Said it’s only fair to buy or have something so that the reserve earns money too. Makes sense I guess though, most places don’t let you camp unless you pay. We had been there before to camp and was never told anything like that, but we luckily had our fishing license so we were all good to stay, if we didn’t he was kicking us out.
Absolutely love this place. They have done such a great job over the years improving it!
Please assist in finding Jeremy Scott Reagan. I am NOT law enforcement, but I empathize with family members of loved ones who have yet to be located. To my knowledge, his truck, wallet, and cell were all found here...... Jeremy was not.
Many hunting areas, very well maintained. Squirrel hunting, deer archery, and rabbit are very good. As a disabled Vet, I hunt here often...many good spots are moderately easy for me to get to.
Great hunting area, hunt here quite often but so does a lot of people from the surrounding areas. The regulations are different than statewide season, so please read the area specific rules to stay within the law. There's a lot of hunting pressure but abundant wildlife. It takes a little more work to be successful but if you're willing to learn the area and work around the pressure, you will be successful. Be courteous and remember, this land is public and no one spot is yours.
