Whitetail Outfitters of Ohio

I’ve been to numerous outfitters and Ty is by far the hardest working and he really knows his deer. This year will have been my 9th year with Ty and I’ve passed many deer over 130 and killed some really big deer. Don’t hesitate to book a hunt with him.

I want to start off to say I have never seen a whitetail operation like this period!! I’ve have been to numerous whitetail outfits from West, MidWest, and Eastern Shore, over the years and can say hands down Ranked #1! Ty and his guides are Top Notch, from great personalities, knowledge, camp life, stand setups, plus food that is out of this world! I recently Harvested a (Booner) Buck of a lifetime that as a young hunter-(boy) has dreamed about shooting! Ty and his crew did know me for more then 2 hours the night I came into camp and went to sleep for the first morning hunt! With a little luck on my side By 9:00 a.m the next morning I had harvested a 14 pt. Giant by listening to Ty and Scent control Techniques over his many years of experience! The days after as my Dad was still hunting I asked if I could help Ty and his crew to bait sites as you are allowed to in Ohio, scouting for new spots, and checkin cams while his hunters are in the stand. In one day the amount of work these men do Ty +plus crew is unreal! I seen with my own eyes no one can say that he is not trying to give every hunter/client the best chance/opportunity at a 150” and up trophy whitetail! Let alone the management process of these Monster Majestic Whitetails that’ roam the hardwoods and hills of WhitetailOutfitters of Ohio!! Numerous Repeating customers were in camp as well as new- from his website to photos all they have is proof of what you call success! End of Story!! Thank you Ty McCombs a hunt I will never forget!

Ty McCombs is the real deal when it comes to whitetail outfitters. He truly is THE best outfitter in Ohio. He and everyone that works with him goes above and beyond to give you the best experience possible both at the lodge and in the field. They do whatever they can to accommodate your needs and Ty works his tail off to put you on the deer. They make you feel like you’re right at home during your stay and more than willing to share their wealth of knowledge about bow hunting. I highly recommend these guys to anyone who wants an opportunity to hunt the best bucks in Ohio and still feel at home. Let me start off by saying the family environment is not an expression there, its fact. Pretty awesome. Its truly a family run business. By the end of my trip, I cant wait to go back again. The week of hunting was a grind. Temperatures were unseasonably warm, Rut had started earlier than most would have thought and the guys an Gals went out of their way to make sure our hunting experience was second to none. There were ~12 of us in camp for the week and Ty and his crew were constantly planning. I myself with others did not get a true ohio giant but saw many 100 to 130 inch bucks with one guy saying he has never seen so many deer in his hunting career. Ty and his crew listen to all of our concerns and questions and planned accordingly. Nothing that was said fell on deaf ears. First class operation in my opinion, already booked for the next year. I have been to Ty's phenomenal outfitting business several times and WOW!!! I can't say enough about the place. If you want the best chance at a big mature buck the this is your place. I have had success a few years in a row and the years I didn't tag out I still seen great deer just out of range. If you just listen to what they tell you about scent control and put trust into his many years of experience you will have a great deer hunt.
