Shawnee Ridge Hunting

I highly recommend a trip to Shawnee Ridge. Last weekend I took my 6 year old son for an adventure there. The terrain is beautiful and rugged, the hunt is challenging, and the Richters are fabulous. I spent several hours wandering around the lodge and exploring all of the wonders they have collected. We felt like family from the minute we walked in the door. Paul Sr, Paul Jr, and Donna are a treat to spend time with. They were also fantastic with my son. We will be back and intend to bring more family along with us next time!!

I took my 13 year old son to Shawnee Ranch for his first hunt. It was amazing! Paul Jr and Paul Sr were both great as were the guides we worked with. The food was beyond great and reminded me of my time on a ranch growing up. The atmosphere in the lodge between the staff and other guest was very relaxed and friendly. As a measure of our experience my son was ready to plan another trip as were were leaving the Ranch. We will be returning many times in the future.

An absolute outstanding experience ! We had the time of our life's ! Great friendly folks that make you feel right at home. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend it to everyone !

My daughter and I were introduced to Shawnee Ridge Hunting back in 2006 and have been traveling to see the Richter family every year since. Sometimes we hunt, other times we don't. But we always have a great time. Looking forward to our first trip to Africa in 2017 with Paul Richter Jr.
