V7 Ranch

Freda and I have made 5 different hunts at V-7 Ranch, each one a great experience. The accommodations are very comfortable and the meals are delicious. There 's an abundance of trophy game animals and the staff is not only professional, but treat you like family. Once you hunt or visit the V-7 Ranch, you always want to come back. Great hunting and wonderful people! This was the first time I had ever been elk hunting. I had my 10 year old son Patrick by my side. My guide Caleb did an excellent job getting us on a large herd. There were 4 shooter bulls in the group of 75+ cows. I had my 6x5 on the ground by 7:30 am. I could not ask for better accommodations, better service or a better area to hunt. This is truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend the V7 Ranch. You will not be disappointed!

Had an excellent time on a cow elk hunt this January. The V7 Ranch has a great heritage and history and operated by men and women of great integrity. The hunt was exceptional, the elk were plentiful and the entire operation is first class. I will definitely book another hunt at the V7 and would recommend them to friends and family.

Jim Richey and the V-7 Ranch team are wonderful family-oriented group committed to offering a serious, full-service, elk hunting experience. The guides were terrific, knowledgeable, experienced and it was not unusual to see up to 100 elk in one day. No pressure at all to shoot an elk below your personal standard. There were 7 of us in camp and all were successful over the 5-day hunt with the smallest elk scoring a solid 300 inches.

I had a great experience, the recently remodeled cabins are beautiful! Josh Adams was very helpful in answering all of our questions and even took the time to show us around a bit! I love all the great ideas that he talked about expanding and adding the the area, and look forward to coming back out.
