Rise & Ride Ranch

Our group of six senior ladies visited on 9/9/25. We were celebrating the 76 th birthday of one of our friends. She rode horses when she was much younger and wanted to get on a horse again. I googled local horseback riding places and found Rise and Ride Ranch. Their website was so thorough and informative. It made the decision easy. This was the place for us. Everything went smoothly from reservations, knowing how to dress, what to expect, etc. We had a terrific time. The weather was perfect. The horses so gentle. They even put a pink tutu and happy birthday sash on the birthday gal’s horse. So sweet. All the employees went above and beyond to ensure we got our moneys worth. We did a one hour ride and it was wonderful. We loved hearing about all of the horses and how they have been rescued and rehabilitated, you can really see how all the animals are loved and cared for on the ranch, we will definitely be visiting again!

My wife and I took a tour with Rise and Ride this past weekend and got to ride on Anna and Elsa with Niall (hope I spelled his name correctly) as our guide. It was an absolutely perfect hour; the trail was scenic, Niall was a fantastic guide who told us a lot about the horses and was a fantastic conversationalist, and both Anna and Elsa were gentle and so wonderful to ride. The staff were very helpful, especially to this newbie, and we definitely plan to come back as part of our annual trips to the area. I highly recommend the Rise and Ride Ranch for anyone whether you're a brand new or experienced rider, you'll have a great time!

A great experience with Nile as our guide. They take great care of their horses and were very nice. As a first time rider this was perfect!

Love coming Rise and Ride Ranch. The employees are always friendly. They answer any question that you have. You can clearly see that the horses are well taken care of. Their special events/rides are the best; for a few examples, their glow rides and halloween rides are unforgettable
