Rocky Mountain Elk Ranch

They are one of the best. My husband is disabled and they provide the best hunting obedience. We are always satisfied. We have been twice and will go for the third time tomorrow so we are looking forward to a good time hunting and good communication with the people. They are already like friends, friendly and hospitable. 🤗👍

Absolutely the most amazing experience. True heaven on earth. The wildlife is abundant and location is beautiful. The guides are top notch and extremely knowledgeable. I have been to the ranch 7 times and have not yet seen it all! If you are looking for a true hunt or dream of a monster bull to fill the freezer and decorate your wall they will not disappoint! They even have a local taxidermist that will have your mount ready to take home with you! Although if you are like myself you won't ever want to leave! Ohhhh and the food! Yum! My kiddos beg for the famous elk tacos!

We originally booked a family trip so I wanted nice accommodations, an area that has plenty to do, beautiful scenery, and an elk hunt that I could enjoy with my family on a time limit. This place provides all of that! The people: After meeting Jeff and Alana Lerwill you know that they are first class, hard working and genuinely nice people. The Elk: They go from huge to humongous. The Lodge: Beautiful place and is solar powered but has all the comforts. It is family friendly and has lots to do in the surrounding areas. The Ranch: High fenced and has two huge canyons with flats in between and on the side and sits at about 7000 ft. The hunt: It's a ranch style hunt with 100% guarantee. Still tough with a bow. Belly crawled through sage brush and hiked up and down canyons (by choice because they will bring you to areas on a Ranger if needed). I enjoy a challenge so I would recommend bringing a bow instead of a rifle. You could always use a rifle on the last day if needed.

This was an excellent hunt. The owners and their guides are a really great bunch! They will not disappoint. My buddy and I became friends with the two other hunters who also hunted during the week we were there. The ranch is amazing and the lodge feels like home. Great meals every night and being able to get a shoulder mount before you leave is amazing.

WOW!!! What an experience!!! From booking to picking up the finished product Jeff and his wife have an amazing team! I can’t even begin to describe with words what an amazing Ranch this is to hunt on. Not only is the ranch in amazing place but the entire experience from start to finish is truly amazing. I’ve been on several hunts, and nothing compares not even close. Thank you Rocky Mountain elk Ranch for the experience of a life time. Definitely will be going back someday
