Rankin Ranch

My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING stay at Rankin Ranch at the end of August. From the moment we got there to check in until we dropped the keys off and went our own way, the staff members were extremely hospitable and made us feel like part of the Rankin family. The rooms are very clean and had a nice cabin/ranch feel to them. They were cleaned daily and anything we needed could be attained at the office. The grounds are really nice with a pool, volleyball court, billiards/game room, petting zoo, and, of course, stables. They also have a small pond by the stables where you can fish for trout. They will cook it if you bring it back with you! The food was delicious and served family style/buffet style. We got to know another family that was staying there and had a great dinner sitting with them at a big table. I had a dietary restriction that they accommodated even though we forgot to tell them beforehand, and they were so kind about it. Now on to the best part… riding! Our guides were AMAZING. So kind and attentive. The horses are SO well cared for and you can tell they are truly loved. That is so important to me as someone who has wrangled in the past. I could tell the wranglers knew the horses and their habits individually. Overall we highly recommend visiting Rankin Ranch & we are so grateful for the experience we had!

My family loves going to Rankin Ranch! We try to go at least once a year! The counselors are amazing with the kids. The food is delicious and the family is just that to us, family! Best hospitality around, and the views are spectacular! Wonderful way to reconnect with your loved ones, disconnect from the crazy world and relax!

We have gone to Rankin Ranch for years of wonderful family vacations. Some of the best times of our lives were spent there on our trips over many years. It is so nice To go enjoy the great outdoors, horseback ride, have evening fun and entertainment. Not to mention great meals 3 times a day! The entire family and staff are wonderful. As a family you get to spend quality time together and apart, the kids program is awesome and our son loved it. We also met some of our very best friends there, that have become framily. Now that our kids are grown up we travel with them to other places. But we still love a nice long weekend at the ranch as just adults. Don’t miss out on this great place and from the Los Angeles area it is so easy to get to.

RANKIN RANCH IS AMAZING!!! The Rankin family are beyond gracious hosts - they are some of the best humans I have the honor of knowing. From the moment you step foot on the grounds, you can feel the generations of Rankins urging you to take a load off, relax, and embrace the space. There is truly no other place like Rankin Ranch - mellow out in the pool, go catch some fish, make friends with a horse, moo at the cows, feast on Sarah's delicious cooking, sleep deep in the comfortable cabins, take a nap on the lawn, read a book by the fire....JUST GO!!! :-)

Five years from now there will be trips you remember and tell friends about… and there will be trips you’ve forgotten about. This is one you’ll ALWAYS be telling your friends about. It’s a place you legitimately get to relax as they already have everything taken care of for you. Awesome place and awesome people. Definitely an experience like no other. We had a great time and we will definitely be visiting regularly. Highly recommend!
