Tiger Back Lodge

Excellent experience! For those seeking a truly non-corporate, local experience, highly recommended Danny and the Tiger Back Lodge. The lodge is a small to medium size lodge; a perfect setting for our 6 who came to hunt feral hogs. The experience was first class country. In addition to living up to our hunting expectations by thoroughly scouting beforehand and tremendous knowledge of the local area, Danny provided the necessary equipment and remembered things we might have forgotten. The property is 700 acres grand with a lake, shooting range, skeet range, improved and unimproved areas. Each meal is home cooked and our stay featured quail, rabbit, venison. chuckers, red beans and rice, goose sausage, fresh eggs, and even French toast. There's a game room for a cold evening, a fire pit area to enjoy company, plenty of ATVs and all the necessary equipment to make your hunt successful. One things for sure, Danny and crew won't let you get bored. From the new to most experienced hunter, Tiger Back Lodge definitely worth considering.

Lodge and accommodations were very comfortable, food was fantastic! Hog hunting was a blast - we shot hogs hunting out of blinds and if you’ve never hunted with hog dogs you absolutely need to try it! One of the funnest things I’ve ever done and we ran lion hounds when I was a kid. We got three hogs with the dogs (killed with knives) and had a couple break from the dogs and swim into the lake. I’m definitely going back!

Tiger Back Lodge exceeded our expectations! My son and I had a limited window of opportunity during our trip to Arkansas for hunting. Tiger Back Lodge had great reviews and had availability for us in the timeframe we had to work with. Danny greeted us warmly and treated us like we were already good friends. The lodge is truly amazing with capacity for our small group to much larger groups. The large central living area, the Kitchen, the bedrooms and the recreation/utility areas of the lodge were all wonderful. After we were welcomed in and settled we were taken on a tour of the property. The 700+ acres were diverse in nature with all areas teaming with wild game. He caters to a variety of wild game hunting and is set up to deliver in all areas. We were after wild boar this trip and we were not disappointed! Danny had put in the work ahead of time to know where the hogs were and he set us up in a blind our first evening. We were able to connect and harvested 2 hogs our first day. Our second day was a repeat of the first. His knowledge and skill brought us to a very large boar which was truly awesome! Danny treated us to home cooked meals that you can not get in any restaurant. He is a remarkable cook and host! It was just the 2 of us at the lodge at this time and he treated us like we were a part of the family. He said he cooks like this if it is our small group to parties of 10 or more. This was our first trip to Tiger Back Lodge and it will not be our last. We look forward to coming back for Duck Hunting on our next trip. Thank you for an AMAZING experience Danny!

Great host, food and hunting in a rustic setting. Danny is a pleasure to be around and is a really solid cook. He uses meats harvested on the land and knows how to prepare them quite well. Single bed rooms avoid CPaps, snoring induced insomnia and awkward walk ins. The common area has a basketball area, a level slate pool table and ping pong table. There was always plenty of drinks and libations around, The night hunting is a fun experience and as a duck hunter is worn out on spinners, loud and aggressive calling and guides that treat customers as people who should be grateful to be invited on a duck hunt with the guide, Danny puts on a masterclass in how waterfowling hunts should be. I’ll definitely book with him again.
