Stan Jones Mallard Lodge

We make an annual trip to Stan Jones Mallard Lodge. The hunting, food, and hospitality are top notch. We have become friends with the other guests that make their trip at the same time each year. They have a great attention to detail, and everything is top notch!

I just spent a few days at the lodge recently and it was an amazing experience! Stan, his guides, the chef and everyone else were great hosts. Although the Black River was 15 feet over flood stage, the guides still managed to provide a quality experience. We will go back for another hunt and look forward to it and we really enjoyed the amenities as well. After a great morning hunting in the timber we spent the afternoon on a stellar pheasant hunt to wind the day out. All of the other hunters and staff were lots of fun to socialize with as well.

The finest duck hunting experience that I've ever had. Stan welcomed us with over-the-top hospitality and personal attention that has no comparison. He and the whole crew take care of the details so you just hunt and have fun. Already booked for next year!

Great place to have a top notch duck hunt. Accommodations are very nice compared to the typical hunting lodge. The food is also first class. They also have pheasant hunts available. The biggest drawback is the cost but it is worth the cost. If you want a first class duck hunting experience give it a try.
