Vee Bar Guest Ranch

Our time at the Vee Bar was truly an unforgettable adventure. From the warm, welcoming staff to the delicious food, fun activities, and the incredible Vee Bar family, everything made the experience top-notch. The wranglers went above and beyond—not only ensuring our safety and comfort, but also making sure every ride was enjoyable and memorable. The variety of activities offered kept each day exciting, and every guest was treated as special, with a personalized touch that made the experience feel uniquely our own. Thank you for the amazing memories—we’re so grateful!

We booked this as a family of 4 with two girls ages 8 & 9. The ranch is beautiful but the people who work there are what makes it truly a one of a kind experience. All of the wranglers are phenomenal and were always keeping a close eye on my girls as they lived out their best cowgirl lives. Ryan and Graham took so much time to get to know our family, and they went above and beyond to make sure we made memories that will last a lifetime. We miss them already. Gina and Wyatt were always right next to my girls checking on them as they were able to lope (their favorite), and they loved picking wildflowers with Sidney. We could go on and on about your staff! The cabins are cute and perfect for our family. We loved sitting on the porch at night and in the mornings listening to the river. Moving cattle one morning was truly a treat and something we will never forget. Make sure you see the horses get let out at night and brought in during the morning. One of our favorite things to watch. If you are looking for a commercialized experience, this isn’t it. But if you want to come somewhere where you actually feel like you are part of the ranch, and be able to truly ride you don’t need to look anywhere else! My girls are already asking when we can go back. Thank you for an incredible experience Vee Bar!

We just did a long girls weekend at Vee Bar ranch and it was an absolute blast! From the gorgeous Wyoming scenery, to the friendly and experienced service from the staff and the Wranglers; to the once in a life time experiences, we loved everything about it. I don’t have another dude ranch to compare it to, but what we loved was that even though we weren’t experienced horse back riders, our horses were so well trained that we were able to do a cattle drive and actually participate in it and some terrific rides out on the prairies and into the hills. The food and the accomodations are rustic but good so that you felt comfortable but yet it felt like an authentic experience. Authentic is actually the best word to describe our experience. We loved meeting the other guests and the owners Carrie and Brent and their really great staff. It had a wonderful family feel and we felt so welcome and happy to be there. Honorable mention goes to the “John Wayne Saloon” on the property where you could grab a cold drink any time of day or in the evening on the honor system. This was just one of the really nice touches that gave this place such a relaxing and fun vibe. Will definitely be back to Vee Bar Ranch some time soon!!

Beautiful, country oasis! Cozy cabins for two or more. Horseback riding, onsite restaurant with a large fireplace, and occasional art classes by one of the residents nearby. They also host a large, community event in the fall. Such a peaceful and amazing gathering place!

Just completed our 4th straight year coming to the Vee Bar Ranch. We can’t say enough about the ranch, horses, wranglers, food, and staff!! Fantastic in every category and riding in the open range and in the mountains can not be beat. The views are all amazing. The lake photos are from nearby Medicine Bow National Park - Lake Marie. Simply gorgeous!
