This place is AMAZING! I came up a day before my friend and my horse doesn’t like to be alone. Sarah was great and let my horse stay in a pen near her horses. She also met me out at 11 PM when I arrived! Love to come here every year. Beautiful trails you can ride to right from the property.
We camped at Spur of the Moment Ranch the end of September. We brought 2 girls who were so excited to ride horses. This place did not disappoint. Riding, grooming and feeding the horses was all part of the weekend and the girls loved it all. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would love to come again sometime.
5 stars. The host was very attentive. The place is perfectly located. So clean so nice. Have everything you need. Big gathering place with a big fire place outside was perfect. our group came in with 11 UTV/ATV/SXS. 2nd time we have been there. You can't go wrong here.
We stayed here a week and a half ago and it was so beautiful and peaceful. There was 3 adults and 2 children and we rented the Birch Cabin. It fit us comfortably for a night. We were there to just have a weekend get away and to ride our UTV on the trails and their location was perfect for this. It was also very easy to navigate around and find plenty of places to eat and a gas station right up the trail. The weekend we attended seemed to not be too busy. Bathrooms were amazingly clean for being outdoor community bathrooms. We will definitely be back in the future. The owners and their daughter were also very friendly and helpful. They did a great job with communication as I wasn't sure if dogs were allowed and they got right back to me to let me know they were allowed with an extra fee, and I also e-mailed them on the way there to let them know we were running a little behind and within an hour they contacted me back.
We had such a wonderful stay here last week. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Super clean and plenty of dishes, towels, blankets and pillows. (Accept wine glasses-bring wine glasses) Sarah was so helpful with everything especially spending time with us and the dreaded Map. We found that the app GAIA worked really well out there too. It showed most of the trails on it. I really liked the corals for the horses too. I thought I would use the stalls but ended up just using the corals the whole time. I highly recommend this place. The fall colors were a bonus!!
