Eagle Lakes Ranch Lodge

TLDR: 5/5 Stars, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. From start to finish, my experience at Eagle Lakes Ranch Lodge was nothing short of incredible. The lodge itself is beautiful and well-maintained, providing the perfect setting for a memorable outing. There were plenty of ducks to shoot at, even on a shot-up pond, which made for an exciting hunt. Our guide Ryan was extremely knowledgeable and added so much value to the experience, ensuring we had a great time. Having a retriever on hand was a wonderful touch. The in-water gravel walkways made access to the blinds quick and easy, which was much appreciated. They even cleaned the birds and vacuum sealed the duck meat for us. One of the highlights was that we also got to pick apples, which was a fun bonus to the day! Overall, this was the best duck hunt I've ever been on – a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I would highly recommend to anyone. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I have spent 30+ days with them over the many years (20+) I can't find one issue, asking them to address, to make our experience any better... However I can ask you all to trust my review, and experiences. The core of this business is the deep family roots of morals and ethics, that assures you will get the best of the best. The ownership has the process, commitment, staff, abilities, and passion to execute an exceptional experience. Over the years I have met, hunted, and worked with every level Mike has put forward. You are assured they will give you everything they have to make sure you enjoy a lifetime memory. I have hunted ( mostly with my boys ) in the fields, on the shore of ponds, in pit and ground blinds, and in snow blinds (our most treasured hunt) I could go on for days with the memories they have created for us. I'm unsure if this is a review, or an opportunity to thank them all again.

My buddy and I booked 3 days of guided hunting with Eagle Lakes last month as just day shooters managing our own accommodations elsewhere. We were blown away as to how exceptionally well we were treated for all 3 of our hunt days. We were guided by Tony and Tyler Bernsen, both of whom are highly talented and professional guides with many years of experience. Tony is the king of joke telling and Tyler worked so hard to set us up on a new piece of flooded corn on our last day to get us into birds! All of the staff work incredibly hard to get you on birds, we moved locations several times during each hunt day to try to get on birds. As just a pair of hunters who respectfully requested that we hunt on our own as much as possible and not hunt in groups, the staff bent over backwards to try to accommodate us. They even brought us a hot lunch to our blind! Mike Bernsen, the owner!, even drove it out to us, right to the blind! And it was hot and really good! They will hunt dawn to dusk for you if needed too, no quitting at 12! Mike is on the radio to all his guides constantly trying to make sure everyone has the best experience possible duck hunting in the corn of Eastern Washington. Although the birds didn’t cooperate as much as we would have liked, I should have looked at the moon phase calendar when I booked the previous spring. After our second day of tough hunting, Mr Bernsen invited us to the lodge that night for snacks and dinner, on him! On our last hunt day, in the morning meet up at the lodge, he sought me out personally to apologize for the tough hunting and offer us a free third day of hunting on him next year if we booked two days! Talk about care for their clients! Needless to say we booked again after we returned from our last morning hunt. That day we were taken to hunt on a newly flooded, unhunted corn pond. It shows how hard they made sure we had the best possible chance of success on our last day and we did have an incredibly good shoot! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mike Bernsen and all of the staff at Eagles Lakes Ranch! The professionalism, the care for their clients, the properties you get to hunt, the lodge and all of the staff there, the guides, the food, delivered by the owner right to your blind! Moving you to different spots to get you birds throughout the day! Who does that! Well, Mike Bernsen and his team of professional staff at every level does! Eagle Lakes Ranch Lodge is a great place to be! The Lodge and staff are unbelievable, they will ensure your stay here is a great experience. Definitely recommend. Colleen does a fantastic job being the Lodge Manager and making every detail perfect.

First class operation with exceptional customer service. Great hunting and guides that work hard to get you on the birds. Food was great, service was great, and great habitat for hunting. Would highly recommend.
