My family and I had the pleasure of staying in Yurt #1 over the weekend. The yurt itself was so cute and very well stocked with everything we could have possibly needed. We really loved relaxing on the patio. The grounds are also spacious and gorgeous, so peaceful and grounding. The lodge common area was very cozy and my daughter loved the board games available to play. Would definitely recommend if staying in the area!
Quiet, exceptionally clean, very nice and accommodating staff, friendly farm animals, and beautiful setting in a lovely valley! We watched a perfect sunset, grilled out under the stars, picked up some last minute drinks from the lobby convenience shop, and had a wonderful evening. Cap it off with great coffee in the morning and a great east-facing porch for watching the sunrise, and I can’t wait to return! Oh, and the orange ranch cat was super friendly and enjoyed a long nap in my lap. Lucky me!
Nice quiet place we stayed in the yurt the bed was very comfortable it was a fun experience. Everyone was very nice and the property was beautiful. The yurts have private bathrooms that are close walking distance away. They have a hiking trail and a bunch of cool xylophones in the courtyard area something you don’t see often and fun for the kids.
Love Boulder Mountain Guest Lodge. Shanon is so accommodating and the cabin we stayed in, Cabin 1, was super clean and well appointed. The best part is the location. So close to get to Hell’s Backbone Grill and also into Escalante, Bryce, and Capitol Reef. Great home base. The Sweet Water Grill is also amazing for dinner!
A truly rural five star experience. My mother and I have always loved traveling, the desert, and Utah. The scenic Highway 12 has been my absolute obsession since I discovered it and new I wanted to treat my mother to a stay along the route. Boulder is a culinary hide away surrounded by some stunning views to boot. The Guest ranch had a very affordable price for a "glamping" yurt accomodations. They also worked with me to leave local wild flowers and a card in the room for my mother's arrival and had wine options if you were looking for that an entity. We stayed in August and the tent was a little hot during the day but perfect for the evenings, there was an in tent water cooling AC that helped a lot. The warmth motivated us to go out and explore during the day and the warmth also meant it was slower at the ranch so not to many neighbors added to the relaxing seclusion. The on site restaurant is a true definition of farm to table fresh and married complex flavors. I'd recommend going for the tender cut of local beef and found the rabbit a very hearty option. The appetizers were seasonally refreshing and creative; I also thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails. There's lots of fauna to enjoy from local birds, horses, pet dogs, and a couple ranch cats. Finally, the gift shop is wonderfully sourced from the local community. I will be coming back for sure, thank you for such a lovely stay.
