Rieger Creek Lodge

It was a great hunting experience. But what makes Rieger Creek Lodge truly special is the staff and outstanding accommodations. I have been on pheasant hunting trips to South Dakota before but this was by far the best. I will be back in 2026. I give it 7 out of 5 stars. “Mango”

Awesome place to stay and hunt! Guides are hilarious and will put you on lots of birds. Their dogs are fun to watch work. Everyone is super friendly and attentive. Staff not only serve but hangout with everyone. They make sure you are always full. They have thought of everything: pool table, shuffle board, ping pong, darts, corn hole, fireplace, massage chair, board games, guitar, football, Bug-a-salt guns... Lodge is new and updated.

We came out to peasant hunt. My husband and dad went last year and said it was first class. So I jumped on board and came this year too! They were right, it will be a yearly trip we will look forward to and make. The staff, accommodations, food and services were top notch! We had a ball with a great group of friends. The lodge is very impressive with a ton of options to play games, relax etc. Each room has very nice furnishings and its own bathroom. The common areas are exquisite. Thanks Christine and staff, we will see you all next year!

Rieger Creek Lodge is a wonderful destination! They were wonderful host with very comfortable accommodations. The entire atmosphere was perfect, but what made it even better was the hunting. Second to none. The different fields provided a challenging hunt with numerous birds. Thank you Rieger Creek Lodge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second year in a row at Rieger Creek Lodge. The accommodations are excellent and well appointed with private bathrooms in every room. We also enjoy relaxing in the Den before and after hunting, with plenty of food and drink at our fingertips. The Pheasant hunting is top notch as well! Our guides, JB, Todd, and Kevin are fantastic, and their dogs incredible. It’s such a pleasure to walk such beautiful territory. We’ll be back to this wonderful place!
