Hurley Butte Ranch

Highlight of our trip! We had no riding experience, but Casie had us up and in the saddle in no time. Our youngest is 9, so this is definitely family friendly. The Badlands are an amazing place to visit, and seeing them from horseback gets you out out to places you can't get to by car. Our whole family had a great time, our guides were fantastic and we would highly recommend whether you are an experienced rider or brand new like us.

We had an amazing riding experience at Hurley Butte Ranch. Our group was only me and my daughter and we were able to ask all our questions to Casie. The horse's were very gentle and the scenery was amazing. My daughter takes riding lessons in Europe and it was great to test the western saddle like "real" cowboys. I can only recommend it!

We’ve had such a wonderful experience riding (for the first time ever!!!) with Casey! It was a private tour, with the most beautiful views! My heart is happy we did this and it is my daughter’s favorite memory from our trip to Badlands! ❤️ And if you can, please book a longer ride! It’s soooo worth it! My friend and I had an amazing experience, Casie was very informative and super welcoming. Our horses were wonderful and we were able to see incredible views. This is a must have experience when visiting the area!

We had a great morning ride; Our guide was super friendly, pointed out the various landmarks and features in the landscape. She even shared stories of her family history on this ranch going back several generations. Great views, good people and very well behaved horses!
