HighPoint Hunting Lodge

Awesome place owned/ran by an exceptionally nice family with a beautiful view of the river. The lodge was immaculate and the food was some of the best homemade meals I have ever had. Highly recommended staying with HighPoint!

This is one of the most comfortable lodges I've ever stayed at. A gorgeous view of the river, beautifull green yard, clean and well maintained, awesome features, wonderfull layout, a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, pool table, cardtables, beautifull fire place, sauna, private and public showers, professional and kind staff. I would most definitely recommend this place for your next stay.

Brad, Jerri and Bo along with their staff are amazing. Very friendly, outstanding hunting, outstanding food. Beautiful lodge and scenery. Highly recommend for pheasant hunting adventure! My pictures and video doesn’t do the lodge justice.

HighPoint Hunting Lodge is ABSOLUTELY top notch! Big, fast, strong healthy pheasants, superior hunting fields, staff is phenomenal! Jeri and Brad run a very clean and organized lodge with an enormously likeable supporting staff. Food is beyond expectations and home hearth cooking farm style, with all the meat and vegetables and side dishes - I wish I could go on and on... I have been on hunts in Argentina, Uruguay for birds, but I don't need to fly down to South America to shoot quality birds anymore. Glad to support USA lodge and staff. Always new great surprises at the lodge.... Always MANY birds, views and hunting fields are special. No need to look anywhere else for a great time and great hunt. This is one of the best places to pheasant hunt in all of South Dakota! The staff is professional and treat you like family. Food is amazing! Hunting is amazing! Staff is amazing! And the facilities are immaculate! Ownership had previously ran Wings of Thunder and have ventured out to owning their own place. Hunted with them several times at Wings and have since followed them over to Highpoint as they make the hunt special for everyone! Brad and team are talented guides and dog trainers. Brad raises and trains all his own dogs and the dogs are some of the best in the business! The fields are a bit of a ways away from the lodge but Highpoint has a heated facility and provides warm food for lunch between the pushes. Last thing, the lodge is something special and leaps and bounds better than the previous place that ownership ran! Views of the Missouri river are amazing and there is always a beautiful sunrise and sunset to look at! When looking for a true enjoyable South Dakota pheasant hunt I would look no further than Highpoint!
