High Prairie Lodge and Outfitters

I booked a three day semi guided merriam turkey hunt for my husband. We loved our guide Cody. He was great!! My husband got a turkey early day one. So we got to go sightseeing and everything was beautiful. Overall this was a great experience. Also Dave and Teri was amazing!! They were a great help!

Just finished a successful Tundra Swan hunt with High Prairie Lodge and Outfitters. From initial talks to pick Dave and Teri’s brains with my endless questions, to Miss Teri helping guide us through the draw application process, the entire team was easy to communicate with and did everything they could to make sure things went smoothly. I can’t say enough about our guide Cody. His hard work and knowledge paved the way for our success. He accommodated our requests and went above and beyond to allow us to harvest a few bonus bird species as well. The crew at HPLO are great people. This was a hunt I will talk about for years to come. I will be back for sure. Thank you so much for the memories!

I reached out to Dave last May about signing up for a semi guided Merriams Turkey hunt. Dave was awesome to deal with! Then next in line was Teri! She was amazing to deal with a literally layed everything out that we needed to do in order to complete the draw process for our Black Hills tag. Once we arrived, we met up with Sawyer. What an awesome guy!!!! He’s hard working and showed us around to quite a few places that he had scouted birds. I got my bird the first day in a thunder storm, which was pretty cool. What was cooler was getting to watch my buddy shoot his bird in the snow!!! Sawyer was fun to hang out with for the few hours that we got to and I’d love to get back out there to those awesome mountains that you guys have!! Terry Gaudette Fairfax VT

Just got done with a Turkey hunt with High Prairie lodge and outfitters Spearfish SD. Everything worked out perfectly. Teri the owner got me a room at the AmericInn a Wyndham hotel flag. It was clean and comfortable. (I guess the lodge they owned was sold) Sawyer my guide new the Prairie and Black Hills well and worked hard to get me a nice bird.

Just got back from an archery mule deer hunt with High Prairie Lodge and Outfitters. Honestly for a short trip I had a great time! Teri and Dave Ciani were helpful and kind from the very beginning all the way to the end of the trip. My guide Cody was a super nice young man and very knowledgeable about the area we hunted and where to find the deer. I saw numerous shooter bucks and had an opportunity to fill my tag. I appreciated feeling comfortable on this trip and extremely enjoyed being on a cool new adventure with upstanding people!
