Hidden Hill Lodge & Guide Service

Stay as LONG as you're able!😍 We shared the family room on a "Pal-entines" weekend with 6 people. The lodge is beautiful, exceptionally well kept and the staff is even greater. We had every need met and exceeded. We stayed up quite a bit later than the other lodge folks for early and late ice fishing and were able to get around the lodge real quietly not to disturb others. The staff will leave you feeling like you wish you were related to them when you left so you could see them more often! Food was excellent, we ate every meal at the lodge. Fishing was slow but that was cold snap related, still happened to land a gorgeous 28" walleye. This is a really fun area, great lake with some really awesome structure for fishing. Had more fun fishing here than I have had in years and already booked next years trip. 2 1/2 days here wasn't long enough. They have everything you need and don't charge enough for the experience and service you get. Book it ASAP.

This place is incredible, simple as that. From the beautiful land of South Dakota's slight rolling grassy hills, to the incredibly knowledgeable guides, to the hard working dogs putting in the good work to make for a successful hunt, to the wonderful stories by Lorrie to the amazing home cooked meals. This trip lived up to everything the previous reviews stated and much much more. This was a great venue this last week for a group of 21 customers flying in from the East Coast. I surely cannot wait to come out next year.

Highly recommend spending some of your vacation days every year at Hidden Hill Lodge! The fishing was great, the food and service was even better! Lorrie and Carla were alot of fun and were always willing to get us anything we wanted or needed.

Talk about being treated like your family!! Lorrie spent extra time with my son preparing him for his hunt as well as gave him some private lessons on how to shoot! My son was able to shoot his first pheasant and extra time was taken to capture the moment!! Brief pauses throughout the trip to regroup, count birds and celebrate each other made the hunt even more memorable! Carla and staff make some crazy good food and appetizers! Thanks again for such a great memory!!

If you are looking for phenomenal guides, hospitality, and food, then you found the right place for pheasant hunting. Lori and Carla, as well as the rest of the Hidden Hill Lodge staff did an amazing job getting us on birds, making every moment a memory and very enjoyable. Everyone here makes you feel like family. Love this place.
