Al’s Dream Pheasant Hunting

Having moved to SD from Alabama, we wanted the true Dakota experience with our first pheasant hunt. Me, my wife, and my dad went on a morning hunt with these fantastic people and had the best time. Friendly, fun, and a beautiful hunt. We enjoyed meeting new people and sharing stories. Lunch was served after our hunt and was fantastic. We would certainly come back

I had not hunted pheasants in some time. I am 69, old enough to remember when Utah still had pheasants. In November 2021 I hunted at Al's Dream for four days with my brother and nephew. Great experience! A lot of good cover, and a lot of birds. The guides were very competent, and their pack of Labs did a good job of not only getting the birds up, but also a great job of finding the birds once they were shot. The good old days of pheasant hunting in my youth are gone, but this was a very satisfying substitute.

We had our first hunt at Al's this past fall. I cant say enough good things about the entire experience. The hunt was great, the food was the great, everyone involved with the ranch made us feel like family..... there is nothing I would change, improve, or complain about. Absolute top notch outfit.

This year was my first time hunting pheasants. I was invited by a group of guys that have been coming here for the better part of TWO DECADES...and boy do I understand now why they keep coming back! The entire team at Al's made us feel at home right away; like we were a part of their family. Great hunting, great people and great memories! I will be back! Many thanks to Dave, Kris, Pedro, Chad and everyone else in the family that helped to make this one of the greatest hunting experiences I've had. We'll see you next year!
