Just returned home from a two day free range boar hunt at Williams Hunting with my dad. It was both of our first hog hunt, but it won’t be our last. Our guides, John and Richard, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time and a memorable experience. I saw shootable boars during every sit and was able to put meat in the cooler twice. John prepared excellent southern home cooked meals, and we never went hungry. Richard’s skill with a skinning knife is impressive. Between us and another group that was at camp, Richard skinned, gutted, and quartered six hogs in a single day and still found time to educate us on the process. Awesome experience. Richard and John are one of a kind and great guides, full of energy and knowledge. On a trip with 6 people we harvested 3 pigs on a two day hunt with every single one of us seeing pigs. The food was just as good as sitting in the stand.. amazing. The lodging was perfect with ac keeping us cool the whole time. Would definitely recommend to others as we are already planning the next time we get down there after our deer season in Ohio. Make sure you read the descriptions on the website and understand that you are on a boar hunt and not a nuisance hunt, I would also recommend to maybe not go in the dead of summer where you aren’t sweating the whole time and the pigs are moving a bit more. While our next trip will be in fall, spring or winter, July was still amazing. My group is all bow hunters and with stands far away from feeders our guides were still able to adjust to bring them in to shootable distance for us. Overall amazing time with great people and guides, thank you Williams hunting for the experience, we will see you again soon!

Had an awesome time at Williams Hunting this past weekend. We did a single day hunt, and saw hogs pretty much as soon as we entered the stand. John was an excellent hunting guide, he will give great advice while being engaging and entertaining at the same time. Would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys hunting. Thanks again!
