We enjoyed ourselves had fun.
We hunted on a cold rainy day. Communication was solid to get the group in during a dry stretch of the day. The guide was friendly and his dogs kept us busy. We all had a great time.
My husband, brother-in-law, and son went on a duck hunt and have a great time. It was their 1st time going and they all got their max ducks, and signed up for next year as well. They do a great job out there and for the memories made it was well worth the price!
Brian is a great host, his place is really nice for wemon and children too. I have hunted all over the world, and his ducks fly as good as any ducks you will see anywhere. There is no such thing as a bad day or a " you should have been here last week" at Toney Creek Plantation. Every hunt has been a good hunt for me!
This trip exceeded expectations, especially for a late season hunt with temperatures in the high 60s. Not exactly great duck hunting weather! Regardless, we all limited out in our blind. 5 hens, 5 green heads. My 10 year old was beyond ecstatic about his first mallard hunt! Birds flew way longer than I expected for a 58 degree morning in late December!!!! As we relaxed at the cabin that absolutely added to the experience, Brian Sulivan and his staff readied the quail and chucker hunt! I’ve been on similar pay hunts in the past and nothing has compared to this experience. Our guides (Spike and Brian) could not have been better with our boys, 10,11, and 14!! Our dogs were amazing! Especially hunting quail at 70 degrees!!!!! If you go, stay in the cabin!! It’s worth it!! Nothing fancy but ALL the essentials plus fresh sheets and towels! Russell is the man! I’m still bragging about the breakfast he cooked all of us in complete silence as we slept soundly in our bunks. He put the exclamation point on this awesome trip. I’ve already booked two more weekends.
