Red Bluff Lodge

This hunt was a real treat for me. After hunting for over 60 years, finding huntable land putting in all the work setting it up, only to have it go away for one reason or another, for my 75th birthday I tried a "Dude Hunt." For what I pay to lease land, This 3 day hunt was an absolute bargain!! It was a great choice. All I had to do was pay my fee and show up. Jim or Eric took me to the stand, chosen for the wind at that moment and what I wanted to hunt. Handed me all my gear after I got in the stand, and picked my up later. I shot the biggest deer of my life the 2nd morning, Perfect 8 point 215 lbs. with a really cool marking on his face. My wife, a non hunter, came along to chill out and had a relaxing time. Jim asked her to come out to see where I was hunting and retrieve my deer, she grabbed her camera and was impressed with the set up and experience. I tried to help Eric drag the deer out but Jim ran me off. Eric and his assistant prepped and packed the meat with ice in my cooler for me to process at home. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. I've paid $200 a night for hotel rooms that were not near as nice. Miss Annabelle kept the good food coming for lunch and supper. Soooo much better than what I have in the camper when I'm hunting by myself, and I didn't have to clean up. I told her I usually lose weight when I go hunting but not this time. The overall experience was like a fun visit with old friends, except I wasn't allowed to help. God willing, I'd go back. Thanks Jim and Staff for a great 75th Birthday hunt!! Bruce D.

Red bluff lodge is an experience unlike any other. The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Jim Boone is unbelievably knowledgeable and very entertaining! His family is wonderful; incredibly welcoming. Their motto is true- You will come as a customer and leave as a friend. You’ll be looking forward to your next trip to the lodge the second you leave!!

Took my son for his first deer hunt to Red Bluff Lodge. They have a full rifle range with a stand, this was a huge help getting my son set up for his first sit. You will not find a better outfitter in South Carolina. Jim and his crew Jamie, Rick, Ben, and Ms Annabell are Top Notch! Food and accommodations are amazing. The whole team puts forth every effort to provide a successful hunt and harvest! Book way in advance, they fill up quickly.

Red Bluff Lodge is by far one of the best hunting experiences I’ve encountered in my many years enjoying the sport of hunting. Mr. Jim and ALL of his staff will go the extra mile to make sure your experience is a fun and safe hunt. The one thing that stands out for me is the sincere “family “ atmosphere Mr. Jim promotes. You really feel your a member of the Red Bluff family when departing and you’ll have the urge to start planning your next visit.

Have been going to Red Bluff Lodge for over a decade and am never disappointed ! Jim, his family and crew run a top notch establishment and highly recommend this trip for hunters of all levels
