Cherokee Run Hunting Lodge

Had a great time with at the Lodge, Great guide, super great host, and very comfortable stands. Guide checked cameras and put us in the most high percentage stands to take a hog! Took my very first hog a monster sow.(Should have a double but my aim wasn't as good as my intentions!) Its fair chase hunting so nothing is guaranteed. I had a great hunting experience and I highly recommend.

Me and my family has been hunting with Tom and his crew for years now. We’ve hunted spring gobblers, night time / Day time Hog hunts, as well as all the months of deer season and haven’t been disappointed once. Great place to go and hangout with the family and friends and get some good South Carolina hunting in. Always excited for my next trip down there!

Went down for March 21-23 with my brother for a night time hog hunt. Had no expectations going in since never hunted for hogs. Had a great experience at the lodge. The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the fellowship was amazing. I felt Tom as a guide was very knowledgeable and very helpful with whatever we needed. I always judge a guide by how much I feel he cares about you being successful and Tom was a great guide. He did everything he could to get you on a hog. He was constantly rebaiting before and after the hunt and made sure you were well informed on where to be watching and what to be looking and hearing for. All in all I could not ask for a better experience or guide and will definitely be back next year. If you’re looking for a great hog hunt experience I highly rate Cherokee run lodge and Tom. Definitely worth the drive which was 8 1/2 hours and the money. I truly couldn’t be happier with my experience there. Hopefully this helps if your wondering if you should come to Cherokee run lodge.

Cherokee Run is ABSOLUTE top notch for a free range deer or hog hunt in the Sandhills of South Carolina. I’ve been with Tom and his staff 5 times in the past 6 months taking family and clients. The clean, comfortable, and well equipped lodge adds to the experience. Friendships, fellowship, and memories including my Son taking his first deer are priceless.
