One of a kind wildlife safari experience. I would recommend places to visit with kids and friends. Interactive place to learn about wildlife and watch a few of the well known species in kind of wild settings. Unfortunately, this place is only accessible via car/personal automobile. Inside you can take a tour bus/vehicle- depends. The tickets were reasonably priced and we opted to purchase the tickets at the entrance counter. Online tickets are also available. For the entirety of the safari, we were inside our car and got to see wild animals like tiger, lions, ostrich, emu, foxes, deers, buffaloes, rhinos, pythons species, cheetah, lemurs and more. There are fun activities to do if you are visiting with kids such as educational sessions with experts, train rides, feeding animals and birds. There were cafes inside the establishment, restrooms were in usable conditions. Since we opted to be in our car for the entirety of the safari, I would say the experience was quite accessible for people of any age group. Staff were nice and friendly. Plenty of parking space was available at the establishment.
Our family had the most unforgettable experience at Wildlife Safari in Winston! Before our visit, the staff was incredibly kind and understanding of our situation, and they went out of their way to support us. We are deeply grateful for their generosity. We came on Friday, August 15, and the emotions we all felt are beyond words. The kids were absolutely thrilled, and our grandmother, who is visiting from Russia, was in complete awe — she had never seen anything like this in her life. We were lucky enough to see cheetah cubs, a giraffe came right up to our car, and the sweetest little deer licked our hands. We all had goosebumps from the excitement! Thank you, Wildlife Safari, for giving our family such a magical and once-in-a-lifetime experience. We will cherish this memory forever!
This place is spectacular! We ended up spending almost two days here! Well I guess 1 day over all, as we wanted to do the big cat feeding and also meet the cheetah ambassador and take a pic. Both are completely worth it though I enjoyed the tiger feeding a bit more than the cheetah but that was probably because I like tigers more. My wife loved having our picture taken with the cheetah who you could also see as you walk into the front village. We started off with spending the first day driving through the safari. We were worried that it was going to be a bunch of driving and not a lot of seeing the animals. We were not disappointed though (except for the wolves) as most of the animals were out and about even though it was in the afternoon and about 90 degrees out at that time. We drove through all of the different zones and saw many animals in each. We are looking forward to the hyaenas that is hopefully going to be coming soon. We plan on coming back when we are in the area again as it is so much fun to visit the animals. All of the employees were super nice and accommodating, as well as knowledgeable. Great visit and a great place to spend a day with your family!
I was really impressed by this experience. There was an area that included a petting zoo that was free upon paying for the drive-through safari. It was very nice to walk around and enjoy. The drive-through was so much fun. It was a hot day, so a lot of the animals were resting in the shade close to their food. We got to see the bears being fed and a rhino taking a refreshing swim.
Went today on a rainy day, almost nobody there which made it like a private park for us. Amazingly beautiful place, great staff and set up. Truly a must see experience. I can't speak for a hot summer day when crowds form, but today was perfect.
