Stanley Valley Ranch

A Lifetime experience! We and our 2 daughters were the first guests on the Stanley Valley Ranch. Ryan and Hannah and her family are the best! Upon arrival we received home-baked chocolate chip cookies and we had a great spot for the RV with an amazing view on the river, it was a quiet and beautiful spot. Ryan and Hannah took us on a tour with the UTV over the beautiful property. It took us 3 hours and we still didn't see everything from the property. We did see feral horses, elk, antelope, bobcat, a golden eagle and deer. What a diversity of animals on the Ranch. Then the girls were allowed to collect eggs, pet the horses, play with the dogs and give a calf a drink. When we arrived back at the RV we were covered in dust from off-roading, but it was more than worth it. Meanwhile, it was 8 o'clock in the evening and we received eggs and meat from the ranch. The meat was delicious. To top it off nature treated us to the Northern Lights! Hannah, Ryan and her family are so kind. The next day the ranch owners showed a beautiful log cabin on the property. Then it was really time to say goodbye. What a wonderful experience we had. A good impression of a ranch ;) The ranch is located near John Day Fossil Beds.
