Royal Horse Ranch

Spent a weekend at Monkey island and stopped for a visit October 2024. Everyone was kind, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. Nancy saw I'm not well and took me on a golf cart tour of the petting zoo, horses and other interesting things. I forgot to check out the winery. I am planning to go back this October to actually stay in one of the cottages. I can hardly wait.

We had a great time. We brought 3 grandkids ages 9,9,12, first time riders and our guide Kylee was great. Allie was great help getting kids on and off horses. They can't wait to go again highly recommend going.

The Royal Horse Ranch was an easy 1 hour and 15 minute drive from Tulsa. The Google directions on the website and the manager gave excellent directions. The horses were well kept. We got to give them a treat at the end of our hour long ride. The ride was nice and shaded. We got to see Grand Lake. We took a few pictures of the farm animals as well. Recommended.

Our girls loved the horse trail ride, very fun and the horses are very well trained even for those with zero experience, give it a try!

We took our whole family here. To start, as soon as we drove in, someone was right there to greet us. There was clearly a lot of things going on around the ranch. But they stopped what they were doing to greet us. Even the dogs! They were all so happy new people were there and were super kid friendly. We all had an amazing time (a group of ages spanning from 5 to 66)! Both Val and Nancy were so helpful and knowledgeable! They both were very helpful even with our riders that were not experienced. Nancy ran the stables and set up of the ride, and was patient and understanding with everyone. Val showed us around the animals and petting/feeding them. Then accompanied us to their on site winery. What an abundant selection they have! Val is very knowledgeable in wine and mead making and tasting, and was happy to show us around and guide us through a tasting. We were given a tour of the cottages and would love to come back for a stay. They were well furnished, up to date and clean.
