1000 Acres Ranch Resort

This place is truly a hidden gem. The horseback riding was awesome, and Friday night dancing at the bar was such a unique experience. The staff and local folks were very nice and welcoming. The property itself is beautiful, right on the Hudson, surrounded by nature, with a pool, hot tub, and a really fun ropes course. The cabins are relaxed and comfortable, with the convenience of being able to park right at the door. My family and I really enjoyed our stay, the kids loved it, the food was good, and the staff made us feel at home. The prices were very reasonable, and the drive up was beautiful with fresh air and stunning scenery. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

This place is awesome!!! For sure best place in Lake George and beyond! We brought a really large group and they were able to handle it incredibly!! Brand new awesome ropes course. The beach and tubes with kayaks. The rooms and cabins are all beautiful fresh clean and nice. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature and loads of things to do at the same time! Oh and can’t forget about 3 gorgeous pools and incredible horseback riding will definitely be coming back here again!!

We had the most incredible Shabbos experience at the resort. Our cabin faced the river and gave a breathtaking peaceful view the entire stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, very well kept with staff constantly making sure it's sparkling clean. The cabins we stayed in are state of the art, fresh, modern, and upgraded. There's an overall woodsy sense that feels authentic and refreshing. As for activities, there was plenty to do. Right away, we got onto the river for kayaking and paddleboating. Our kids loved the river experience, even going solo. The views and vibe are unreal. The brand new ropes course was enjoyed by kids and adults alike. We also enjoyed the scooters, game room, daily wagon ride and animals in the barn across the street. Cannot wait to be back.

Horse riding in the early morning, surrounded by the quiet of the woods, proved to be an unforgettable treat for both adults and children. The rope course is a highlight for the younger guests, and it was a delight to watch the kids laugh and tackle each challenge. In addition to these activities, the ranch boasts axe throwing, river tubing, and an on‑site basketball court, giving guests plenty of options for recreation. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any request or question. Their welcoming attitude greatly enhanced the overall experience. really great get-away place, nestled in the Adirondacks, beautiful spot on a quiet road ,literally on the Hudson. Spacious comfortable grounds , great for walking, sitting by the water, taking in the views. Also has boats, a beachfront, horse riding, bar with dance floor, axe- throwing, ropes course, zip-line, inflatable bouncy things for kids, beautiful dining room, nice outdoor gazebo, space between each cabin. Great accommodations and accommodating and friendly staff. I personally know the operator for many years and he's a wonderful dynamic and magnanimous person. Highly recommend for individuals, families, and all size groups !!
