Loved this place. Tried the fried artichoke hearts and they were great. The pizza was great too. Met the owner and he is full of stories about the history of the building which is believed to be hunted! Highly recommend!
Amazing home made phenomenal food. the place is like going back in time and Bryan and his staff are awesome individuals. I highly recommend stopping by
An absolute hidden gem. If you’re ever driving along I-80, take the 5-minute detour to Papa’s—you won’t regret it! Be sure to ask Bryan about Marilyn Monroe—he’s got a story or two for you. The pizza was some of the best I’ve had in years: fresh ingredients, homemade sauces, and a perfectly crisp undercarriage. Don’t skip the wings, and make sure to finish the meal with their homemade cannolis. All in all, I can’t recommend this place enough!
So so cool! The food was really delicious and unique. They have a lot of cool WWII artifacts and hidden gems.
It was a cool place to stop for a meal and spend some time looking at everything. Don't forget to check the open rooms outside and up the balcony out back. The first time we stopped there was around noon but found out they don't open until 4:00 p.m. On this last visit we got there at 3:30 and had to drive around the local area until 4:00 when they opened... But it was definitely worth the wait. We ordered a full pizza but only ate a slice of each. I believe you can order one slice at a time if you want, ask your waitress to make sure it's true. We also ate the garlic knots which were really good and they had a handmade vinaigrette that was really good.
