We happened upon this place driving from Alamogordo to Carlsbad. Easy to miss. What a curiosity with all the animals you can look at through the fence. Made for an entertaining and delightful rest stop. Great snacks and the cider (apple and cherry) were not too sweet at all. I regretted not buying any pickled olives or corn.

A beautiful and interesting place for whole family on the way to and from Cloudcroft, New Mexico. We were traveling from White Sands National Park to Artesia, a small town with hotels and food options. This place is right off of US 82. They have many different farm animals and also bison, camel. People can feed all farm animals except bison, camel. You can buy animal food from their store and they provide guidance on how to safely feed the animals. We( I and my husband) also got to feed llama, zebra which we did for the first time. Zebra is supposed to be fed only with the help of spoon or he can hurt you really bad. It was really a good experience as I fed the farm animals for the first time. They also have clean bathroom which can be used if you purchase something from their store. Loved this place!

They had a CAMEL! And a Zebra! It was a cool Lil spot to stop & stretch our legs and backs! And they also had fishing ponds that required NO license to do so!

Such a nice surprise to find this place! They have a petting zoo with goats, lamas... one just had a baby while we where there, zebras, and so many more

What a great place to stop, look at an amazing assortment of animals and buy cool jams, foods, homemade products to eat and enjoy. Super friendly people too, clean rest rooms.
