Tinnin Hunt Club

Booked a pheasant hunt with my dad and was able to bring my 2 boys along as spectators (age 8 and 4) and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Our guide was Mike Chavez. He included my boys in the process and made them feel apart even though they weren’t hunting. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. He definitely made it worth it and want us to go back! We are already planning our next trip!

I recently visited Tinnin Hunt Club with a buddy for a pheasant hunt. What an experience…we had so such a great time! Megan with her three beautiful kiddos welcomed us to their farm, signed us in and after wishing us good luck, turned us over to Mike our guide for the hunt. Mike is a professional in the truest sense. His goal was to make it fun and to make sure we had the greatest opportunity for a successful hunt. Also, I personally enjoyed watching Saber, our hunting dog, do what she was born to do, finding, pointing and retrieving…what a thrill! All of this in the setting of a beautiful, secluded farm in the Middle Rio Grande Valley made our hunt so thoroughly enjoyable! My son just completed his pheasant hunt recently at Tinnin. This was our second hunt, but we took four young hunters that have never pheasant hunted before. They all had a blast, I can’t say enough good things about how great the guides, dogs, and staff at Tinnin Hunt Club are. They committed to providing a great experience. Looking forward to doing it again next year.

My son and I did three different hunts in Oct, Nov, & Dec of 2023. This place is top notch! Megan Tinnin is absouluty awsome to work with. Super squared away, and excellent communication. Their guides Robbie Tinnin, Mike Chavez, and Moses truly go out of their way to make sure your hunt is an absoulute blast. All around amazing staff. The club property itself is beautiful, sitting in the Rio Grande Bosque. Super neat place. Their sporting clays course is action packed and does not dissapoint. I will be coming back soon!

AWESOME!!! Discovered Tinnin hunt club several years ago and it is a New Mexico gem. Happen to meet the owner this last hunt and he was so friendly and down to earth. He made a point to come talk to me which was really nice. Excellent kept grounds and the guides are very knowledgeable, friendly and take the time to make sure you enjoy your hunt. Highly recommended to anyone from novice to expert.
