The elk bros are a crew of elk experts that are passionate and sincere about helping hunters connect with elk and the elk hunting experience. They take a patient and thoughtful approach to coaching and inspiring hunters looking for an edge in the elk woods. The knowledge I’ve picked up from these guys is unparalleled and the gear that they offer is also best in class. They surround themselves with experts because they are that themselves. There are a few knowledgeable, skilled elk hunting instructors and guides out there, but one exceptionally skilled instructor and guide is Joe Giglia. But Joe is more than an instructor and guide. He is a passionate coach with a skill set that comes from over 40 years of coaching and hunting. As a high school track coach, he motivated and trained his athletes to become state champions. His passion now is to coach hunters to become champion elk hunters. Via his online academy, the ElkBros podcast, and Elkbros Adventures, he gives wannabe hunters the keys to the kingdom. If one dedicates himself to immersing himself in what Joe has to offer, he/she will get the benefit of decades of experience without having to learn by trial and error. I have been blessed to be introduced to elk hunting with Joe and Chav and have had the opportunity to hunt with them several times. I also participated in the inaugural Elkbros Adventures coached hunting program, as well as hunting with two of his hand selected guides. In the process I have been blessed to harvest several elk as a direct result of learning from The Coach. If you have a desire to fill an elk tag, dedicate yourself to what Joe has to offer. Don’t just wade into the water…immerse yourself in it…live it…do it!

Joe G. and the rest of the ElkBros Team really exceeded all of my expectations for an archery elk coached hunt. Not only did I have one on one sessions with multiple coaches, for 3 - 4 months prior to the season, we also had team meetings to learn from the others which helped me grow and challenge myself. This also really helped make this hunt a Brotherhood experience. During the hunt I was paired with different coaches based on how and where I wanted to hunt, allowing me to choose my ElkBros adventure. On the first day, the coach showed me how he would approach a given situation… after that it was me leading the hunt and getting guidance as needed. This really helped me build confidence to know that my choices and techniques during a calling session, navigation, set-ups, etc were in line with what a skilled and successful archery hunter would do. At the end of each day there was always a great warm meal, no matter when we returned, and the different teams would discuss about the day’s events so we could all learn from each other’s experiences. You will not regret hunting with the ElkBros!

I was fortunate to be part of the inaugural ElkBros Adventure class. I saw the opportunity on instagram while having my morning coffee, I filled out the application right away and then talked to my wife about it and we decided it was an opportunity that I should not turn down. At the time I did not know what I was in for, the ElkBros Adventure camp isn’t just a hunt they prepare you from your bow & arrow setup, your physical training, your shooting, your gear plus elk calling and different situations with the elk and communicating with them. If you’re the type that wants to do your own elk hunt but don’t know where to begin the ElkBros Adventure camp is for you.

Joe Giglia and the team at ElkBros are the absolute best at what they do. Bar none. I started out looking for a guided hunt experience with a "hands-off" outfitter, so I could gain as much experience as possible on my own. But, then I found the ElkBros. Joe and his team turn that equation upside down. Their process offers the hunters "hands on" coaching and mentoring so that the hunter can gain as much experience as possible. I was part of their Adventure Camp in New Mexico 2025. It was far and away above anything I could have hoped for. I learned something from every person in that camp - hunter, coach, guide. They sent every hunter in that camp up with the possibility to go as hard as they wanted in chasing elk. The unit we were working in was spectacular. This team is the real deal.
