Bugling Bull Outfitters

As an avid hunter this was my very first time hunting with a guide. My wife and I arrived in town and enjoyed dinner with Curtis and his crew. Curtis assigned each hunter to a guide. We woke the next morning and met with our guide. My wife and I went with Josh. Just a few hours into the morning, my wife shot a nice antelope! Josh did a great job caping the antelope and prepping it for a mount! We then got in the truck and drove to the next spot. I then shot my antelope and we were both tagged out before lunch! Curtis and his crew were very professional and impressionable. Full of laughter and fun. We enjoyed every bit of the hunt and will return!!! If anyone is looking for a great outfitter this is the one for you! The entire crew is very friendly and easy to get along with! We had a great time with great people!

This was an amazing experience! Curtis and his crew were knowledgeable, straight to the point, and incredibly helpful. Both my husband and I tagged out the first day. Josh was our guide. He was helpful in telling us what to do and where to go. He helped quarter the antelope and helped cape it out. Just a cool, fun, and new adventure. 100% willing to make the 24 hour drive again.

Updated review -I have now been hunting seven years with Curtis for elk, mule deer, antelope Barbary sheep and now oryx. This past September I completed a tough but thrilling off-range oryx hunt with my good friend Jimmy. Even though I wasnt successful he harvested a beautiful trophy. Every hunt with Bugling Bull Outfitters has been an outstanding experience. Curtis's knowledge of the pursued animal and the terrain they inhabit is impressive. During my first elk hunt with him I heard and saw more bull elk in the first hours of the hunt than I did on 4 previous elk hunts in three different states. My only complaint was that it was too short of a hunt as I tagged out that morning. I have 45 years hunting experience on public and private land and been on numerous outfitted hunts for a variety of species. I have been to some very nice camps and lodges with great food and accommodations but little or no game. If you are ready for an authentic HUNTING experience in a great camp, then I highly recommend Bugling Bull Outfitters. I will be there again this year for mule deer and I was lucky enough to draw another off range oryx tag for next February.

I went on a mid-September elk hunt with Bugling Bull Outfitters. Tristan was my guide. We hunted hard and ultimately called in a nice bull to 25 yards and got it done. This is a nice camp with great food. The tents we stayed in come with big cots and a propane heater for when it gets cold at night. If you are willing to hike and hunt hard you will get an opportunity at an elk. These guys know the area well and understand how to hunt elk. We were in the action every single day. The New Mexico scenery is beautiful. We heard 100+ bugles in 4 days of hunting.

I can't say enough about how awesome my elk hunt was with Bugling Bull Outfitters. My brother Brent and I were able to harvest 2 great bull elk. All of the guides were very knowledgeable about where the elk were located. We were in the middle of bugling bulls every hunt. Curtis was my guide when I was blessed to take the bull of my dreams. All 9 hunters were successful on taking bull elk, the camp was nice, food was good and plenty of it. Thanks to everyone at Bugling Bull Outfitters for an awesome elk hunt. I would hunt with this outfitter again.
