Calamus Reservoir State Recreation Area and Wildlife Management Area

Can't encompass the the whole lake on one experience but the weather was perfect and the lake level was great, especially for the amount of beach area.

A solid fishing lake. It's remote and there is no marina, so plan in advance for food, water, and fuel if you're taking out a boat.

Wonderful lake, native shoreline (not developed with houses!), beautiful white sand beaches all around. In a good spot for wind for sailing and water sports.

Nice place for fishing. We started out on the north eastern side of the lake. Then we went to the west side. Did good. Caught some fish. Nice white sandy beaches.

Amazing lake and wild life. Fishing was great in early morning and at night. The swimming beaches were the best for the 100*+ weather we had soft sand cool water that got deeper gradually.
