Whiskey Butte Lodge

I spent three days deer hunting and lodging at Whiskey Butte Lodge. Their website advertises exclusive hunting access to the land they own. Regardless of this advertisement the land owner hunted on the property 2 of the 3 days that I hunted and on the day he didn't hunt he sighted in his rifle in the middle of the property. When I informed the proprietess of my concern on the matter she was dismissive and voiced that it might have even been to my benefit as it kept deer moving. Exclusive access is not a concept open to interpretation. The property associated with the lodge is relatively small with consideration to deer hunting. I hunted there 3 days out of a 16 day season. They could have chosen to hunt any of the other 13 days I wasn't there. As many people have to budget both their time and expenses to schedule hunting trips I feel in necessary to share this poor experience with other potential patrons so that they may reconsider their decision to lodge here.
