Kings Ranch is a very well run operation. The facilities are clean and well kept. Rhonda offers great information on the trail system and endeavors to make your stay the best ever. Guest are all given nice spaces for their trailers and the horse accommodations are super, with the majority being shaded.

If you want a place to camp near Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park where you are treated like family or friends King Ranch is the place to stay. Rhonda and Jeff provide a peaceful and clean campground with breath taking views. They work hard to make your stay enjoyable. Ride horses or hike right out of camp for miles of beautiful trails. Explore on your own or Rhonda will often ride with to show you the best places to go. Rhonda brings her camera to take amazing photos that will provide lasting memories of your trip. The campgrounds are immaculate with full water, electric and sewer hookups. Your horses are provided with large , clean and safe pens. We have always enjoyed our stays at King Ranch.

King’s Guest Ranch is an immaculate, beautiful, quiet private property nestled in the public lands of western North Dakota, just 20 minutes from Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Rhonda is an amazing host who guided us on horseback through the breathtaking public lands- she is so funny and personable, and knows absolutely everything about the surrounding areas to ride. We were able to rent her bumper pull stock trailer a few times to haul out to the park so we did not have to disrupt our own camp. I travel all over the country and will absolutely be returning to King’s Guest Ranch. If I wouldn’t have had to go back to work I’d probably still be there ;)

Kings Guest Ranch-top notch 5-star rating. Rhonda is awesome. Accommodating, friendly home atmosphere. Spacious, cleanliness for people and horses. Horse pens are big. You clean pen into wheel barrel and she hauls it away. Rhonda makes your stay so easy and comfortable. A friend and I were there last year, this year, and reserved the same spot for next year. You won’t be disappointed.

If you have never been to Kings Guest Ranch you are missing out. It sits in heart of the badlands where every turn is breathtaking views. There are tons of trails to ride on if you are bringing horses or hiking! Rhonda is the absolute best. We have been coming here for 7 years and its the trip that we all look forward to every year!
