The location is nice and peaceful but would not recommend. The rooms are not even remotely clean. There was dirty socks and used tissues behind the nightstand, hairs in the tub and sink, bedspreads were dirty and the floor was filthy. The overhead light was hanging out of the ceiling. The owner will also try to charge you extra for "laundry fees" when you check out adding an extra $200 onto the original price.

This place was beyond dirty as bathrooms were very dirty, floors were dirty, nothing was dusted and little bugs flying around! Outside definitely needs a facelift also . Mel from the bar was awesome though and had housekeeping come clean the tub and floor around the toilet . This review was written by Deans wife . I do not recommend!

This place works perfect for us !We love that everything we need is here ,rooms are clean ,spacious and comfy .The views are incredible ,the grounds are family friendly ,love the fireplace and really enjoyed the deck and stage one trip there was a band .We like to meet family here .We enjoy riding our side by side on the trails !My dog Gypsy LOVES this place ,remembers it ,and gets excited when we say BUFFALO GAP!The owners are salt of the earth good people !This trip a girl from our home town is here working. I It's always fun to visit with staff as sooo many of the young people working here are from foreign countries! I got to use some of my rusty Spanish, broken German and hear about some of their lives back home and future plans .I highly recommend a stay here for a relaxing good time !And the stars at night are BIG AND BRIGHT ! .

I don't typically write reviews, but I feel like I should warn people about what they will need to bring before they book here. You will need to bring sandals or shoes to wear in the room because the floors are so dirty with dust and small rocks that you will not want to walk on them barefoot, or even in socks (we were here with another party and they said the same thing, so I know it wasn't just our room). You will also need to bring soap and/or hand sanitizer as there is no hand soap in the bathroom. Additionally, they provide one singular "conditioning shampoo" which is 0.75 fl. oz., so if you plan on showering more than once during your stay or washing your body, you should bring soap and shampoo/conditioner from home. Lastly, the shower was disgusting. I don't believe ours was cleaned, as there were long and short hairs covering the wall and the tub before we even used it. The drive from Medora isn't terrible, and the view is scenic. If you're looking to rough it for a couple nights, this might be the place for you. Things I would overlook but might as well mention since I am already making this review: Beds are uncomfortable and pillows are old and yellowed. The towels were extremely small and rough. Lighting was terrible and there was one small window to let in natural light during the day.

Beautiful spot, super clean, lovely staff. Don’t judge a book by its cover, wasn’t sure we were at the right place at first. Stopped here for a night, great room with two queens and a bunk bed for the kids. Huge deck out back with incredible views. Special treat to watch a brand new foal with its momma out in the pasture. Spent some time playing pool with the kids in the dining room while my husband caught some 💤. Staff was kind and helpful, even brought firewood for us cause we were eyeing up the pit. Rooms are rustic but the linens, bathrooms, and appliances were immaculate. Good size mini fridge too. Restaurant had cold beer, great food, and a salad bar too!
