Had a great time. Originally signed up for a self guided hunt with my own dog, but due to a last minute schedule change I had the good fortune of having John stick around with me and my dog. Even though I use my dog, I would still recommend the guided hunt. I am glad to find a new place to bring my dog and a new friend. I hope to become a regular here. J&J has multiple habitat types and a great setup for dogs to work different types of cover depending on what you want.

I have hunted with Mr McFarland several times, both with large groups and with just two people, and he has delivered an awesome experience consistently. He is extremely friendly and abundantly accommodating. He will work with you to make sure that you get plenty of birds. He is such a gracious guide, both he and his sons. I have used several quail farms in Mississippi and he ranks at the top, in my opinion. He is constantly working to improve his land, adding new hunting locations and different environments. I am excited to continue to hunt with him for many more years.

Good dogs, Great flying birds, and some darn good country folks running the show!! Treated my Preacher to his first bird hunt!! Very impressed with the whole experience and can’t wait to book another fun filled afternoon!! Five stars from me!!👍👍👍
