We had a great experience at Gulf Coast Gator Ranch! The airboat tour itself was about 30 minutes and gave us a fun and scenic ride through the area, with lots of chances to spot gators in the wild. Afterward, you can walk around the property to see the alligators they raise on-site, which was both interesting and educational. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, making the visit feel relaxed and enjoyable. For $5, you can even feed the gators they raise (not the wild ones, of course), which was a unique experience. We also loved meeting their cute resident cat, who seemed right at home greeting visitors. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the tour very informative while pointing out details about the animals and the environment. Overall, it was a beautiful setting with plenty to learn and enjoy—a great stop if you’re in the area!
The gator experience is really cool. The swamp boat experience is where it’s at though! Our boat driver and guide, David, is very knowledgeable about gators and the swamplands, he’s got a great personality with plenty of funny jokes. As a former tour guide myself, I know how much work it sometimes takes to ensure your guests are having a good experience. David clearly enjoys sharing his knowledge and the amazing watery wilderness he guides folks through on his tours. I can’t recommend this tour experience enough. It’s worth a drive from Biloxi or, other nearby cities in the area. The scenery in the bayou is beautiful.
I visited here several years ago, and wasn't disappointed today either. It was a great experience! The guide was very knowledgeable about the alligators, their habitat, and the sanctuary. The only thing I would have liked to do is hold a baby alligator again. Looks like that will be available next year. I highly recommend this place!
What a super fun experience! The boys LOVED feeding the gators before our boat ride. And for only $5 a cup, it was a really good deal. We probably should have bought more. Our tour guide was fun and super friendly. He would stop and tell us about local wildlife and we saw a fair amount of gators while we were out. After the tour, each of my boys got to take photos with a baby alligator. It was well worth the $5 - you can take as many photos as you like and it’s not rushed. And we did a little shopping in the gift shop before leaving. All in all - it was a fantastic experience and I’m so glad we did it. Core memories were made today. Thanks for being a part of our family vacation!
Absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome—so friendly and passionate about what they do. Seeing the gators up close was thrilling, and the team went above and beyond to share fascinating insights into the local history and wildlife. Their knowledge and enthusiasm made the visit both educational and exciting. If you’re looking for a unique adventure packed with charm, warmth, and wild encounters, this place is a must. Highly recommend!
