Peck Ranch Conservation Area

Very cool experience. Gorgeous scenery, especially up on the ridges. I needed 4 wheel drive-not sure I could have gotten up the ridgelines without it because of the gravel. I saw a couple dozen elk, deer, wild turkey, and an armadillo. Clean pit toilets in 2 different locations. Very quiet and way off the beaten path. If you delight in the journey as well as the destination, this is a great stop! The drive out was fun, the conservation area itself had breathtaking scenery & lots of animals, and it was free!

No guarantee you'll see Missouri Wild Elk but we had a fantastic visit to Peck Ranch seeing Wildlife on the Driving Tour. The Beauty of the landscape and opportunity to see the start of something tremendous for Missouri...Elk back roaming Missouri. Hats Off to the Staff and the work they do and have done to provide an opportunity.

Very nice drive, but we didn't see any elk only momma deer and baby!! Also three snake's. Lol

Saw 2 elk. Both had to have been female because there were no antlers and this is the time they should have them.

Have been here 3 times and have never been disappointed. Have always seen deer, turkey and elk.
