Hunter's Point

This place was recommended to us by a friend. We made a reservation however they failed to tell us us there was a fishing tournament on the dates we were their . I was told the restaurant was fabulous. Our dining experience failed to show that. As all the fishermen coming to the tournament were there eating and it was so load you couldn’t even hear each other other talking. There were I’m assuming wife’s of these guys screaming idiotically as if they were at a bar very rude…. Then we were told the restaurant was having Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday night so we got there early to beat the crowd of fishermen, but the waitress told us it would be be 5:30 pm before it was going to be served so when we arrived at 5:30 there were no seats and it was way to full . They managed to get us a seat we ordered the prime rib and gotten our salads when the waitress came over and told us they were out of prime rib !!!!! We told the waitress we came at 4:30 and we were told it didn’t start till 5:30pm . The waitress said oh that was not true. Someone came up with me one . However since it was cooked for another table it was not cooked right for me . It was not a good piece of meat. So I did not eat it. Also all night long the guys were so loud by our room late in the evening. Bottom line we should have been told about the tournament we will be leaving early and I Do Not recommend this place

This is one of the best places to visit when up North. Regardless of how busy they are due to the holidays, they always have fast and friendly service for their customers. Their food and drinks are always great and the service is top notch. Keep up the great work, gang!

Heather, our waitress, was great. The fish dinner was like warm and dry, hard around the edges like it sat under the warmer too long. Drunks in and near the bar were screaming vulgarities throughout our dinner from 8:15 to 9pm. Staff did nothing about it. Not a place to bring your family.

Best breakfast in the area! As far as service goes in the restaurant however, request a different server if the older blonde lady with glasses is yours. She is just horrible. Every time we have gotten her she screws stuff up. She is a straight up space cadet and I'm really getting sick of her. The younger brunette with glasses though, that girl will have your food and drinks to you before you can even order them. She is fast especially behind the bar. She sets the standard for how service should be. Bit if an attitude at times but when you're that good you should flaunt a little tude. And she is funny too. Drop the blonde and hire More girls like the brunette.

Stopped here for supper while up visiting a friend who lives in Isle. The broasted chicken was really good and the staff is super friendly. The location is gorgeous.
