Quaker Neck Gun Club - Maryland Duck Hunting

We went in late December for divers and puddle jumpers. The divers were ok not great but the guides Cole and Jacob worked their tails off to get birds in. It was a fun hunt but I will say they are pretty new to divers. As far as the puddle ducks we hit our 4 man limit by 8:20 what a exciting day and again I can say enough about our guide and his apprentice Cole and Jacob called them green heads in like crazy. We will certainly be returning next season but I do think we will go even later in the season we wanted to get redheads canvis backs but they weren’t there yet.
not too many good things to say about this place. me and 3 of my buddies came to quakerneck for a 3 day hunt. saw less than 10 birds all 3 days. didn’t even get to pull the trigger on my gun. would not recommend this place at all with the amount of money you pay. find somewhere else where you know you can at least get your moneys worth. to top it off, we went to leave the last day we were hunting and our guide asks us for a 400$ tip for all 3 days. who with good sense would pay that big of a tip and not even kill any ducks. much less shoot their gun. lastly, it didn’t even seem like the guides cared whether we killed anything or not.
Went down for shot gun season the owners were great people and made me feel at home . They know there properties inside and out. Great property I told them what kind of terrain I like, they showed me the day before where I was going to hunt the next day non stop action and I was able to harvest a great buck. Thanks guys for a great hunt
Great set up however Horrible experience. Didn’t see any birds. Guide was on the phone most of the time and didn’t seem interested in hunting. For almost $1400-$1600 price tag including buying four hunter spots and tags and licenses, this place is overrated. Took my son first time duck hunting so chose this place to have a good experience for him but he was disappointed along with my other friends. I wouldn’t go there again. Sent a message to the guy who manages it. His response was merely satisfying when we heard the gun shots all around us all morning. Save your money and Time. Find another place.
If you're looking for the some of the best hunting available in Maryland you need to visit Quaker Neck Gun Club. We experienced one of the best duck hunts of my life and will be coming back for more this year. Top notch property and excellent guides provided us with great gunning all morning.
